Add half a cup of baking soda directly to the wash to keep the towels clean.
Mr Dimitrov said: “Baking soda is a great natural detergent.
“It works wonders at getting rid of grease or stains and can help to neutralise any odours that might be lingering on your fabrics.
“It’s also non-toxic, which is a great natural alternative if you want to use something that doesn’t contain a lot of chemicals.
“It’s a great option if you’ve got sensitive skin or any allergies.
“Make sure you don’t confuse baking soda with bicarbonate of soda. You can find baking soda at any regular supermarket.”
All you have to do is sprinkle half a cup of baking soda over your towels before you put them in the washing machine drum.
Don’t add laundry detergent at the same time.
