We all have towels that have seen better days but we haven't quite got round to replacing them yet.
The once super-soft bath towels now feel like drying yourself with sandpaper and it often seems the only option is to bin them.
But a mum has shared her brilliant hack to turn 'stiff, crusty' towels back into the luxury ones which only ever seem to exist at hotels and spas.
The mum, who goes by the name Mama Mila on TikTok, shares home tips and tricks, racking up thousands of views.
One of her latest videos is titled 'Say goodbye to stiff, crusty towels' with the caption: "The secret to fresh, fluffy towels."

The mum says the first thing to do is throw your towels in the washing machine between 40C and 60C.
Add liquid detergent but instead of using fabric softener, add half a cup of white vinegar instead.
Once the cycle is complete, shake the towels out and leave them to air dry until they are only slightly damp before throwing them in a tumble dryer for a few minutes to finish the job, which she says helps with softness and absorbency.
Showing off the brilliant final results, the mum writes: "The vinegar breaks down the residue from detergents, leaving towels soft and fresh.
"Level up your self care routine with spa-worthy towels."
With people asking questions in the comments, the mum confirmed she used plain white vinegar and said the smell isn't left on the towels after the wash.
And the best news is it works for clothes and bedding too.
