She uses a plastic bag instead of a sponge to transform her bathroom.

Gozde said the cleaning hack requires no harsh scrubbing and leaves your shower screen sparkling for ages.

“So I was told about this hack to clean shower screens and decided to try myself, OMG!” said Gozde on the Mums Who Clean page.

“Just sprinkle some Jif onto your screens and get a plastic bag - yes you read that right - and wear it like a glove, then wash your screens. It works!

“It keeps it clean for soooo long! And it is so easy. No scrubbing needed and nothing else to clean it with.

“Try it and thank me later!”

Sharing her technique, Gozde said you can use either the Jif Cream Cleaner or Jif Powder Cleaner for the job.

“You can either use the cream or the powder versions, both work fantastically,” she wrote.

“Wet the screen first, then use the plastic bag and then rinse. It’ll be sparkling.”

Other members on the group were intrigued by the idea.

“I use Jif all the time but will use a plastic bag and see what that does,” said one.

Added another: “I’m off now to buy a plastic bag!”

Said a third: “I’m definitely trying this!”
