After years of failed attempts to properly clean her shower screen, an Aussie mum says she has finally found success.
Sharing incredible before and after photos on a popular Facebook page, Queensland mum Tamika said she was blown away by the results she achieved using Bar Keepers Friend Cleanser.
The item – sold at Coles and Woolworths – has been described as a “miracle product” for transforming sinks and even oven doors.

Now Tamika says after years of struggling to get her shower sparkling clean, Bar Keepers Friend has come to the rescue.
“I nearly cried,” wrote Tamika on the Mums Who Cook, Clean and Organise Australia page.
“Over the last three years, I have tried Gumption, methylated spirits, Windex, toothpaste, dishwashing liquid, magic eraser, boiling water, mould remover, bleach... etc. Major elbow grease with minimal result.
“Late last night was scrolling and read someone’s post about Bar Keepers Friend!
“Whenever I washed it, it looked clean until it dried. This time it’s squeaky dry and spotless.
“So happy I don’t need to replace this before we put the house on the market in a couple of weeks.”
Describing her cleaning technique, Tamika said it was a simple process.
“I just wet the scourer under the tap, sprinkled directly onto the scourer and applied to the shower screen directly in circular motion,” she added.
“Left it a couple of minutes then wiped off with shower head on the shower side and sponge on the other side. Dried straight away with hand towel.”
Many of the group’s members were blown away by the results.
“Wow! I have had heaps of trouble with mine too! I will have to try this,” said one.
